The first two hours of the meditation-a-thon were swell! Solo Green Tara jumbles my early morning mouth, until i can't figure out where i am in the liturgy. I love being a piece in the energy building here. It is like giving back for all the times that energy helped me out. I hope this Green Tara session started us off on the right foot by clearing away obstactles.
Peace,
sarajean

I'm so tremendously grateful to be here in this place, doing these practices that are so important to keep flourishing for the benefit of all sentient beings!!! I started my first hour with ngondro practice, spent the second hour in sitting meditation, and was inspired to do a second ngondo session during the third hour. That's very unusual for me, but the energy here is so uplifting! The time passed peacefully and joyfully. I want to offer tremendous thanks to all the patrons, sponsors, sangha members, Kagyu lamas, and Lama la most of all, for providing this place and teachings and practices of the Kagyu lineage to relieve suffering for all sentient beings!

The dark, predawn hours with just the butterlamps, 2 small shrine lamps, and the small light shining directly on my pecha... The very best...

Not all is so smooth for me this morning. I think I am getting sick and I am really tired. My practice was really bogged down. It is hard not to feel like a failure when your practice is really difficult. Well wishing for all the rest of you today. I wish i had gotton things off to a good start.
Good night and good morning, sarajean

Trying to meditate at late hours and being tired the rest of the day made me emotional and grumpy. I'm struggling to open up and really do the practice, but it all feels appropriately difficult. Especially because this is the week I finish Vajrasattva, it feels right that I'm shaken up. No ground under my feet! Julie
