Interview Protocol: 1) Bring a kata, 2) offering envelope, and 3) your question(s) in writing.
1) If you need a kata they are available from the our Bookstore. You only need one as long as you take care of it. They can be used over and over. Ask how to present it properly. 2) The offering for a private interview is a minimum of $50 in a clean envelope for each 20 minutes. Simple yes/no questions will fit in 20 minutes. Most people require at least 30 minutes. First interviews usually take 45 minutes to an hour. 3) Ask questions of the nature that you are willing and able to act on the answers you get.
Additional information for KTC Members: KTC members, past & present, must be attending Sundays at KTC group practice on a regular basis to schedule an interview.
Impermanence
- The world and all its inhabitants are impermanent.
- In particular, the life of each being is like a water bubble.
- It is uncertain when I will die and become a corpse.
- As it is only the dharma that can help me at that time, I must practice now with diligence.
